Fixed absence types enable clearer and more flexible structuring of shift planning. While previously the properties of an absence (e.g., vacation) were derived from the name, assignment now takes place via the type of absence. This makes it easier and more consistent to control designations and balance calculations.
Example: You are planning a company outing that should count as a half day of vacation?
Then create a new absence and select "Half Day Vacation" as the type.
This day will be automatically recorded correctly in the vacation account and displayed clearly.
