If errors occur too frequently in the checkout process because employees assign cash as the payment method, it may be worthwhile to make the selection of the payment method mandatory. While employees can no longer complete a transaction with a single click, the error rate for incorrect payment methods is lower.
This option can be activated in the cash register settings » Basic settings » 'Automatically pre-select cash as payment method'.
