The online booking has been largely rebuilt: booking calendar, waiting list, voucher and product shop, "My Appointments", login and registration, and the review page now appear in a new, unified design.
The functions largely stay the same – what's new is the look and feel. If you've already set up your online booking, there's nothing you need to change.
There are two layouts for the booking calendar. They are selected in the online booking settings under "Calendar Display":

Both displays have new day tiles, a time-of-day filter as a segmented bar, and placeholder images for staff members without a photo. Days beyond the booking period are shown with dashed lines.
What's especially new is that customers can see why a day is not bookable. Previously, it just said "outside the booking period." Now there's a distinct hatching pattern and a note for each reason:

Waiting list: Logged-in customers can see their current waiting list entries below the form and in the day popup, and can withdraw them themselves. The salon then receives an email titled "Waiting list entry withdrawn." Customers who aren't logged in sign up in two steps – first their personal details, then their desired appointment. If the email address is already registered, they are asked to log in.
Product shop: Location filter, search field, headings for each product group with description, struck-through old price for discounts, and quantity buttons. Each location and each product has its own address – products can therefore be linked to directly, for example from social media or a newsletter. The voucher shop keeps its tile and list view as well as price selection.
"My Appointments" shows upcoming and past appointments, courses, waiting list entries, punch cards, and vouchers. Appointments can be cancelled, changed, and – if the salon allows it and the cancellation deadline hasn't passed yet – rescheduled via "Move appointment." If an appointment can't be changed online, it shows why.
Login and registration: Registration works as a standalone page or as a popup, with additional fields and spam protection. "Forgot password" now also opens as a popup, so that a booking in progress is preserved. A password strength indicator helps with choosing a secure password. Customers invited by the salon to use online booking can review their details on a dedicated page, set a password, and are then logged in directly.
Reviews: The reviews page shows the distribution of star ratings and can be filtered by stars; "Show all reviews" resets the filter.
The booking completion with customer details, consents, voucher code, and SMS TAN remains functionally unchanged.
